Heaven's Bestiary and Wings of Marble - Both Kickstarters are now Live!

Hey all! We're reaching out because both Marinda and myself have received questions about future projects and while we're not doing a kickstarter together right this second, our seperate campaigns do happen to both be live right now! 

We thought we'd share a quick overview of the two 💖

Heaven's Bestiary - an enamel pin kickstarter by Astermorn

Hey guys! ❤️ Marinda here, my new Kickstarter campaign is now live, it would mean the world if you could check it out ❤️

Heaven’s Bestiary is a series of enamel pins depicting the Chinese zodiacs, based on a series of illustrations I started in 2019, that I hold dear to my heart. I'm really excited to bring these to life as pins now!

There will be limited early bird tiers available the first 48 hours, don't miss out! ✨

There will be 12 designs total. The initial funding goal is set for the first design, and the rest of the pins are stretch goals. After all designs unlock, there will be additional stretch goals for some fun freebies as well!

Wings of Marble - An enamel pin kickstarter by annadrawsstuff

This one has been live for a few weeks, but there is still six days to go! 

Wings of Marble is a hard enamel pin design that uses screenprinting to give the illusion of marble! I've always loved drawing angels, and now that I've already turned two devil designs into enamel pins I thought it was high time to finally add an angel to the collection 💖

I'm incredibly happy to say that all stretch goals for this one have already been met, and all freebies as well as both pin variants have been unlocked! 

The reward stickers have also already arrived, and they're just as shiny as I'd hoped ✨

Hey all, as some as you may have seen on Twitter, we've got some happy news to share! All kickstarter rewards have been packed, and are now on their way.

It is now out of our hands, which is scary but also very exciting 🎉

 We had a blast working on this project together, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better result. We're personally super psyched about how the pins turned out and we can't wait for everyone to get their hands on them- which will hopefully be soon!  

Tracking numbers

Everyone will receive their tracking numbers shortly. Do keep in mind that our shipping provider needs a few days to process everything, so it may take a few days until it reads as sorted. 

Until then it is entirely possible your tracking number will still read 'Item with barcode [insert tracking number here] not found -give it a couple of days!  

If you have not received your tracking email in a few days, please feel free to reach out- we're always happy to help.   

Shipping estimates

We expect most packages within Europe to arrive between two and four weeks from now. Because COVID is still greatly affecting a lot of countries, however, it is still difficult to give accurate shipping estimates outside of Europe.  

 We tried our very best to pack as quickly as we could so that the rewards for non-European backers still arrive before Christmas, but unfortunately we cannot currently give any guarantees for this. We're hoping for the best, but want to please ask for your patience if your package does not make it in time. 

 Store updates 

We both plan to have the leftover stock and B-grade pins available on our stores this week, together with some of the other rewards! 

We've split the stock among ourselves, so if something is sold out in one shop definitely do check out the other as well :)

Pins have been received & grading has finished! Shipping will start this week 🎉

Hey all! 

We've had a pretty hectic week grading and sorting the 2000+ (!!!) pins  we got in last tuesday - but we're almost ready to ship! We're absolutely in love with how they turned out, and we can't wait for everyone to be able to see them in person as well.

We will be putting the last pins on their backing cards tomorrow, and after that we'll be all set to start getting those rewards out to you! 

We'll be doing our best to assure orders outside of Europe get priority due to the extended shipping times, and hope to be able to give everyone their tracking codes this (and at the latest next) week. 

We've managed to snap some quick pictures of all of the pins together and on their backing cards- it's getting real now 💖

Hi everyone! 

We're happy to be able to announce that the pins are expected to arrive in the coming few days! This means that we're right on track, and that we'll be taking all of next week to start shipping out packages. 

In order to do this, we're going to be locking addresses on Backerkit. This means that you have 48 hours to double check your address info and make sure everything is correct. After addresses are locked you will not be able to adjust your address any longer. 

If you discover any mistakes or want to make any changes after this time, please message us as soon as possible. Keep in mind that we may not be able to change the address for you after this time, as we aim to have most orders out by friday. 

Once the packages have been sent, we will be providing everyone with their tracking numbers. During the shipping progress we'll be prioritizing orders to destinations with a longer shipping time (mostly outside of Europe). 

We'll be posting a quick update with our own pictures of the pins next week! Until then, please reach out if you have any questions- and once again, thank you so much for your support!

Big progress update! ✨ Pin sample + freebie pictures and a delay announcement

Hey all, we apologize for the brief radio silence! We've been hard at work to make this project a reality in, and wanted to await the sample pictures before hitting you with a big update :) 

What we've been up to in the past while:

September has been a busy month. We put in all orders for our kickstarter freebies, and worked with the manufacturer to make sure everything was in top shape before moving into production. 

Production and delays

After working out some issues with the linework and some unavailable pantones, the pins have finally been put into full production as of 29 September 🔥

This is about a month later than we planned to do so. The kickstarter turned out a lot bigger than we expected, so we wanted to wait for the samples to be completed before placing the full order. We wanted to make sure the end product was turning out as we intended, especially considering we're dealing with some pretty big quantities here! 

The manufacturer told us to expect between two and three week production time for all the pins. As there is a holiday in China for the first week of October, we expect to have the pins around the start of November. 

We'll begin grading the pins immediately when they are in, and are going to do our best to have shipped all orders out by mid November. 

This does of course mean that we have some funky fresh sample pictures for you, but we'll put those at the bottom of the update so it doesn't get too cluttered ❤️ 

Freebies 👁️

We've been putting in orders for the rest of the kickstarter products left and right!

Yesterday we received the final batch of freebies (the patches) and we've very excited to show you how everything turned out ❤️

The A6 cards are still a test print, we forgot to take the bleed margins into account, so we'll be getting those printed properly in the coming weeks!

For the patches we managed to find a manufacturer that does golden thread, so they turned out just as shiny and sparkly as they deserve to be ✨ 

And last but not least, a bunch of shiny stickers!
